The Gents Yorkshire County league consists of three division, comprising between 6-7 Clubs in each league.  

Clubs represented currently are New Earswick, Selby, York, Hornsea, Harrogate, North Cave, Leeds, Scarborough, Thornaby, Redcar and Doncaster.  

Most games are played on a Saturday lunchtime and are open to all ages.  The format is 2 bowl fours, where each venue has two teams of four, so 2 rinks for the games and games are played home and away at the same time.  

Scoring is 2 points for a winning team at either of the 4 rinks and 6 points for the overall aggregate.  1 point for a tied team game.
